The Value of NetFlow
Detailed visibility into individual users and business applications using the global network is essential for optimizing performance and delivering network services to business users. NetFlow is a good source of conversation information with which to perform traffic engineering, usage-based billing, and capacity planning activities. IP SLA enables measurement of IP applications and services that utilize data, voice, and video in an IP network and is useful for ensuring business services. NetFlow and IP SLA are important data sources for the nGenius® Service Assurance Solution, providing IT managers with a cost-effective means to monitor and measure remote areas of the network.
