Suweera is a Principal Security Research Analyst on NETSCOUT's ASERT Team. Her duties are researching and evaluating the threat landscape to identify prevalent malware campaigns. This includes reversing engineering malicious code and their communication protocols; to develop policies for attack mitigation and automating internal threat analysis systems. Prior to NETSCOUT, she worked at Google with the SafeBrowsing team where she investigated and reverse-engineered large scale unwanted software. Suweera has over 8 years of experience in Malware Analysis and also occasionally takes part in CTF competitions.
