Mobile World Congress Brings Best & Brightest Together in Spain

NETSCOUT showcases game-changing Smart Data security and AI solutions.

City with skyscrapers lite up at night.

What did 109,000 people gathering in Barcelona, Spain, during the first week of March have in common?  They all attended the Mobile World Congress (MWC). Many of them could be found at NETSCOUT’s impressive booth in Hall 2 throughout the four-day event.

Attendees had the opportunity to learn first-hand about NETSCOUT’s unique Smart Data solutions, which are helping to accelerate efforts in 5G NetOps, AIOps, and mobile network security. The coffee bar with a full-time barista was a bonus!

Industry experts shared insights into protecting mobile networks from distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks and advanced threats, as well as acquiring next-level artificial intelligence (AI) with automated observability for tomorrow’s service provider networks. Topics also included 5G optimization for the radio access network (RAN) and the core and service-level agreements (SLAs) for slicing and fixed wireless access.

A Unique Opportunity to Interact with Leading Industry Specialists

One of the more compelling reasons for attending MWC was the opportunity to interact with leading industry specialists one on one. For those unable to attend the conference or meet with these specialists, the following interviews are available:

Rich Network Data Drives AIOps for Today's Living, Breathing 5G SA Networks: In this video, NETSCOUT’s Rick Fulwiler discusses how service providers can maintain network visibility, security, and performance in an increasingly complex digital landscape.

Attack Circles Are on the Rise; Is Your Strategy in Place?: Attack circles are becoming a major cybersecurity challenge as threat actors deploy coordinated, multistage attacks that evade traditional defenses. This video explores network detection and response (NDR) solutions with AI-driven analytics and real-time threat mitigation.

Exploring AI’s Role in Security: NETSCOUT’s Tony King discusses the pressing security concerns faced by operators today, including the challenges of finding, training, and retaining skilled security professionals. King provides a thoughtful analysis of the future of AI in security, considering the implications for risk and compliance.

AI’s Impact on RAN Networks: In this video, NETSCOUT’s Karsten Gaenger discusses the challenges operators face in a flat market environment and the critical role of AI and automation in enhancing efficiency and driving growth. Highlights include how AI can pinpoint issues, such as ping-pong handovers and physical cell ID (PCI) conflicts, making network operations more efficient and effective.

How AIOps and Curated Data Are Revolutionizing Network Management: In this video, a panel of experts dive into the latest advancements in AIOps, network management, and service assurance in the cloud. Included are insights into the future of AIOps, emphasizing acceleration, holistic views, and the promise of AIOps in fault identification.

The Future of Security in 5G: Trends and Growth:  NETSCOUT’s Darren Anstee explores the future of security in 5G, including the evolving landscape of DDoS attacks and how NETSCOUT leverages AI and automation to enhance threat intelligence to protect both wireline and mobile environments.

Also of interest is an interview with NETSCOUT’s Bruce Kelley on delivering observability with security. He discusses the need for a unified approach to security and observability, and how integrating network detection and response (NDR) with security operations can enhance visibility, accelerate threat detection, and reduce response times.

Connections with our customers are what drives us, and NETSCOUT was thrilled to be able to do that again this year at MWC.
