As area vice president of engineering for NETSCOUT’s threat and mitigation products, Hardik Modi leads teams responsible for all aspects of threat intelligence, including threat research and collections. <br><br> A highly sought-after byproduct of Modi’s threat intelligence research with NETSCOUT’s ATLAS Security Engineering and Response Team (ASERT) is the creation and distribution of NETSCOUT’s semi-annual Threat Intelligence Report, which analyzes the global threat landscape, including distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack campaigns, advanced persistent threat (APT) groups, Internet of Things (IoT) vulnerabilities, and crimeware. <br><br> He also oversees the creation of security content for such industry-leading NETSCOUT security and mitigation products as the award-winning Arbor Availability Protection System (APS) portfolio, the world’s most widely used DDoS mitigation technology. <br><br> Modi has two decades of experience in threat intelligence, network and security product design and research, and software engineering.
