Scott is AVP of Product Management for DDoS and Threat Intelligence with NETSCOUT.
Scott earned a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Michigan in 2001, based on research into building scalable fault-tolerant distributed systems. He joined Arbor Networks as a principal software engineer and helped lead the development of the Sightline product for flow-based traffic analysis and DDoS detection. Since 2011 has led the business and technical development of the Arbor DDoS solutions as a product manager, continuing in that role after NETSCOUT acquired Arbor Networks.
